Join veteran Broadway musician, Dave Noland, as he leads children through an innovative filled hour of songs, stories, and activities!

Zip Pop Buzz is the story of a child who wakes up to the sound of a ladybug making the unmistakable sound, Zip Pop Buzz. Follow the child through the story as she tries to figure out what the little ladybug is asking for. Zip Pop Buzz is a book designed for children to musically participate with Dave by playing different percussion instruments to help tell the story.

Children will also get an up-close experience with many different woodwind instruments and musical styles. Fun for the whole family!

How does music influence our perception of emotions, characters, and settings? Adventures In Brass showcases the instruments of the brass family and introduces young audiences to the power of music in storytelling. With familiar tunes and interactive singalongs, Adventures In Brass is a delightful concert experience for elementary-aged kids and their families!

New York City-based quintet Calliope Brass plays repertoire ranging from jazz to classical, pops to swing, and everything in between. Since our inception in 2015, the ensemble has been inspired by the power of storytelling through music, presenting recitals throughout the Northeast.

Calliope members are versatile musicians found playing in Broadway pits, major symphony orchestras, the Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle, mainstage acts including Adele, Pink Martini, and Andrea Bocelli, and sharing their artistry in schools nationwide.
